Fully customizable, the app allows players or their parents to choose what types of math functions are practiced, as well as the numbers used. After settings are in place, the app presents users with a screen of colorful bubbles, each holding an equation or answer. The Blue Jackal is a nice storybook app that is written to help children understand the consequences of lying. And we love a story with a moral! The book is available in male or female narration, with an easy to understand voice, and is full of crisp, fun graphics. This is a great app for older kids. Basically a word search for the iPad, words are displayed hidden in a jumble of letters. As kids locate a word, they simply swipe their finger along the word and score! Available in English, French, Polish and more, this would be great fun for a bi-lingual family.
